Positive Posts 13 - New Game & Gratitude Journal Page

Games can serve many purposes in our lives, including social interaction, learning, imagination, and just having fun.

Don’t forget that there are printable games in this blog to help children practise reading skills, and also the Gratitude Game … and children can make up their own games, too.

I've been working on a new printable board game today, using the Colours theme from yesterday. The game can be printed on A4, on light card if you have it. There's a colour version or a black-and-white one to colour in.

You'll need a die (dice) and some small tokens (e.g. coloured buttons, small stones) to use as 'movers'.

If you want to make the game more educational, you can ask players to answer a question or read a word when they start their turn, before they can make their move.

I've also made a games-themed page for the Gratitude Journal for today. Click on the pictures below to open the printable files.
