Title - Positive Posts - Gratitude Journal - 83 - Enjoyment

The topic for today's Gratitude Journal post is something you enjoy.

When I started doing these pages for a Gratitude Journal, I thought I might do maybe 50... but I've kept getting ideas and making new pages, so now it's over 80.

I do have a few more, so I'll add them as "open" topics - though we'll be away camping at the start of December so I won't post every day.

So here is today's page, in a few different colour choices:

Positive Posts - Gratitude Journal - 82 - Gifts

We like to give gifts at special times of the year, on birthdays and anniversaries, and sometimes for no particular reason.

Being able to give a gift is special in itself.

Positive Posts - Gratitude Journal - 80 - Thanksgiving

From the early days of celebrating bountiful harvests, with a feast for  to modern times when people give thanks for their blessings and gather with family, Thanksgiving is a great time to reflect on all the good things we often take for granted.

What is at the top of your list to be thankful for?

Positive Posts - Gratitude Journal - 77 - the Internet

Those of us who grew up without the Internet are still often amazed at its existence and the way it has opened up our lives with instant worldwide knowledge and communication.

How do you use the Internet to enrich your life?

Positive Posts - Gratitude Journal - 76 - Art

Art can take many forms, not just painting or drawing – it may be sculpture, collage, textiles, cake decorating, photography…

Even the most amateur dabbler in art can gain great pleasure and therapy from the hobby.

Another aspect is the enjoyment and emotion felt from seeing art works.

What does art do for you?

Positive Posts - Gratitude Journal 74 - Health Care Workers

The real heroes of this year have appeared... and they're not the sports champions, movie stars or even world leaders - they're the Health Care workers, who have been putting themselves and their families at risk, working long hours in and extremely trying conditions and in restrictive, even painful protective clothing, to keep the rest of us as safe and as well as possible.

Over the years, humans have developed some amazing ways to travel, from simple skateboards to jumbo jets and even spaceships.

What form of transport do you like best?

Positive Posts - Gratitude Journal - 71 - the Oceans

From the earliest days of life on our planet, through the ages when the seas provided water for our atmosphere, food for animals and people, and a way to explore and travel, the oceans have been vital.

Positive Posts - Gratitude Journal - 70 - Trees

Imagine if we didn't have trees... how sad would that be?

So many varieties of trees exist, all over the world.

They give us shade, wood, shelter for animals (and people), as well as fruits and flowers, and they also add beauty to our landscapes and gardens.

Today's Gratitude Journal page celebrates trees:

Positive Posts - Gratitude Journal - 68 - Spread a Little Happiness

It’s easy to spread a little happiness as you encounter people from day to day… a smile always helps, or a compliment, an extra little gesture, a thoughtful note, a felt “pocket heart” (1,000 Hearts kindness project), “pay it forward” or random act of kindness (e.g. shout someone a coffee anonymously), or even just by being there for someone… don’t forget to check out the “Kindness Pandemic” Facebook group if you haven’t already.

One of my favourite projects is to paint small rocks with a simple picture or inspiring words, seal with clear spray, and leave them in public places such as playgrounds, shopping areas etc. for people to find. It's a cheap, fun hobby, and there are Facebook “Rock” groups for many places... or you could start your own :)

Here is a Gratitude Journal page for today’s theme:

Positive Posts - Gratitude Journal - 66 - Peace

Many of us are able to take peace for granted in our lives, but in too many parts of the world, peace is spasmodic at best.

It's a good time to reflect on the value of peace.

Positive Posts - Gratitude Journal - 65 - Remembrance

Today, on the 11th day of the 11th month, we commemorate Armistice day, the end of World War 1, and remember and honour all those who have sacrificed themselves to protect their homeland and civilians in conflicts throughout the years.

Today’s Gratitude Journal page reflects on that theme:

Positive Posts - Gratitude Journal - 64 - Choose Your Own Topic

Today, I've made a page with a floral border in a choice of colours (or print the pale blue on greyscale if you don't have colour ink); you can choose your own topic for this one.
