Christmas Games and Activities - printable

Here is a collection of Christmas-themed printable games and activities.

Click on the thumbnails for the printable .pdf docs.

Printable Games

The games are best printed onto light card; you can also laminate them if you like. Use a die (dice) and any small coloured counters/buttons etc for 'movers'.

These games are designed to use with 'word cards' to practise Sight Vocabulary - you can make small cards with words for your child to practise, or substitute the words with jokes, problems, challenges etc.

Printable mini-book: "We Love Christmas"

This page can be printed and carefully folded into a tiny book. Instructions for folding it are here (and there is also a blank book so you can make your own):

Positive Posts - Gratitude Journal - 85

I've had a bit of a break from posting Gratitude Journal pages here, not because of going camping as we had intended, but instead dealing with major health issues in the family. Lots of reasons to keep feeling grateful, despite all the negative news and poor prognosis - positive thinking has kept us going so far and will help us to keep beating the odds!

So today I'm posting a swag of pages with butterfly borders, that you can use for whatever topics you like:

Title - Positive Posts - Gratitude Journal - 83 - Enjoyment

The topic for today's Gratitude Journal post is something you enjoy.

When I started doing these pages for a Gratitude Journal, I thought I might do maybe 50... but I've kept getting ideas and making new pages, so now it's over 80.

I do have a few more, so I'll add them as "open" topics - though we'll be away camping at the start of December so I won't post every day.

So here is today's page, in a few different colour choices:

Positive Posts - Gratitude Journal - 82 - Gifts

We like to give gifts at special times of the year, on birthdays and anniversaries, and sometimes for no particular reason.

Being able to give a gift is special in itself.

Those of us who grew up without the Internet are still often amazed at its existence and the way it has opened up our lives with instant worldwide knowledge and communication.

Positive Posts - Gratitude Journal - 76 - Art

Art can take many forms, not just painting or drawing – it may be sculpture, collage, textiles, cake decorating, photography…

Even the most amateur dabbler in art can gain great pleasure and therapy from the hobby.

Another aspect is the enjoyment and emotion felt from seeing art works.

What does art do for you?
